Hornstull Microcosm konstnärlig gestaltning, 13 x 17 meter | Stockholm 2022
Kristoffer Ekman is an artist and curator working primarily with photography and painting—in galleries, the public realm, and through publications. His practice explores themes of energy, time, and the multilayered facets of reality. Among his most notable achievements is the installation of Hornstull Microcosm, one of Sweden's largest photo-based artworks. Displayed on scaffolding during the renovation of a residential building, it represented a novel format for contemporary photo-based art. Ekman has received six scholarships from The Swedish Arts Grants Committee and one from The Centre for Photography. He is a member of Konstnärscentrum (KC öst) and Konstnärshuset (SKF).
