Carolina Hindsjö

Carolina Hindsjö (b 1972) is from Stockholm, Sweden. She went to art college in London at Chelsea College of Art and Design. She is a storyteller. Her stories come from everyday life, walking and thinking and texts she reads about theological, philosophical and political themes. Carolina is making paintings, animations and performances. Every year she is making an advent calendar where is is making one pieces of art every day for 24 days. Time is often an important part of her work. And she likes working in series. She is a member of the artist run corporative Studio 44 and her gallery is Maria Vulfovitch. She has showed her film at Oberhausen Film Festival, Göteborgs Film Festival, Stockholm Film Festival and Great Lakes Film Festival.
